MONTREAL – Earlier this week, the Liberals led by Mark Carney introduced plans for nature safety in Canada, unveiling a collection of commitments geared toward conserving biodiversity, bolstering Indigenous stewardship, safeguarding freshwater, and assembly international safety targets.
Greenpeace Canada welcomes the Liberal nature platform particularly given present geopolitical dramatics. However extra ambition is urgently wanted if ecosystems are to be restored, biodiversity loss reversed and worldwide commitments met.
